A funny yet poignant solo-performed play (centring the type of gay character who is usually left out of the story) BUFF explores body image pressures, jealousy, and the journey to self-acceptance through the world of online-dating and social media.

Press & Reviews

Reviews from Scott Le Crass's previous productions -

“In rising star director Scott Le Crass's note-perfect production, it's a total pleasure, albeit sometimes a painful one, to sit through”
Rose- Park Theatre, 2022-
What’s On Stage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Gently directed by Scott Le Crass, avoids melodrama and is all the more mesmerising for it.”
Rose- Hope Mill Theatre (online streaming) , 2020-
British Theatre.com ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Scott Le Crass’ directorial style matches Stephens’ unfussy writing. It’s quietly confident, never unnecessarily showy, and infused with a sense of Le Crass’ evident love for the play. It’s a production unafraid of purposeful silences, well aware that a pregnant pause can say just as much as a page of a dialogue.”
Country Music- Omnibus Theatre, 2019- The Stage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“A staggeringly experienced and multi-talented creative team led by Director Scott Le Crass, ‘Sid’ is an explosively uninhibited illustration of the dark, obsessive psychological state one could find oneself sinking into; this show needs to become a permanent fixture in the West End.”
Sid- Arts Theatre, 2016-
West End Wilma ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
