“A sharp and witty play which explores the concept of what it means to care” (LondonTheatre1)
Written Off Theatre was established in 2021 by Emma François and Eva Tritschler. Emma and Eva were brought up by NHS workers and have always believed in the value and importance of key workers. Consequently, both creatives wanted to focus on representing key worker voices in their writing. We can all agree it was a shame that it took a pandemic to acknowledge the dedication key workers give to the community. With a sold out London run at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre at the Camden Fringe in 2021, the journey of Careless started off with a bang. This was followed by another eager audience at a second sold out run at The Hope Theatre’s Spring Season in 2022. Written Off Theatre are making their Vaults Festival debut after performing with the Space UK at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe last Summer. This show is aimed at those with a sense of compassion and of course... humour.
