Contempt is an odyssey through Government and its institutions. It’s an exciting tale of finding one’s true self, which will peel back our impressions of the contemptful people we see in top jobs and uncover what emotional turmoil is brewing underneath. It’s a story of overbearing mothers, fearsome fathers and ancient Kingsman.
The Creative Company No Quarter was born from a youth spent ingesting the wild art of the early internet and creative awakening upon hearing Led Zeppelin for the first time.
James Boyd set up the company with photographer Alex Harvey-Brown and they've since spread themselves across the toasts of theatre, film, music and design.
No Quarter works with unique creatives such as Peter Fellows (Veep/Avenue 5), Bradley Farmer (Baby Driver/Last Night In Soho) and Rhiannon Neads (of Stiff & Kitsch) to wrestle with the depths of modern life's dark and often funny side.
Their short films have done the rounds in many Film Festivals with their live performance work seeing sell out shows at London and regional venues.
