“I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” Is an intense durational performance focused on desire, gaze, and hysteria. With endless options the audience is in control of the trajectory of the show, and the experience of the single performer. All that separates voyeur and subject is a pane of glass. With the aim to subvert the audience performer relationship by placing the power in a select fews hands, this show provides instant gratification to those lucky enough to be in the hot seat. An examination of theatres relationship with female hysteria, overstimulation, the body and internet culture.
Jaya Twill is an emerging artist and performer, recently graduated from Wimbledon college of arts.
