Matt Hutchinson is the son of Jamaican and English parents and is an NHS doctor. He is also a comedian – (Finalist Leicester Square New Comedian and Hackney Empire New Act competitions, Semi-finalist BBC New Comedy Award).

In this stand up show he asks: “How hostile is the environment in Britain?”. Who, is welcomed in the UK, and what does it mean to “integrate”.

Hannah Layton Management - Matt Hutchinson

I am a comedian from South East London and have been performing since 2014. I have been in the final of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year and Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian and a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award.

I also work as a doctor in the NHS - specialising in Rheumatology and General Medicine and worked in hospitals throughout the pandemic. I am currently doing a PhD investigating inflammation in Covid at the Crick Institute and UCL.
