Sacrifice is the true story of a woman battling power to save her disabled daughter from the devastating time-honoured tradition of child marriage in rural Africa. Child marriage has been an epidemic around the world for all of living memory. In a man’s world that silences women’s voices and shackles their hopes and ambitions, Aneno, a devoted wife and loving mother, confronts physical danger and risky strategies to follow her heart with nothing but courage and the instincts of a mother lioness to her name.
