Is that a joy-con in your pocket, or are you pleased to see us?
Armed with plasmids, melee weapons, and enough energy drinks to kill a God, Dogmouth Theatre are on a mission to uncover the truth about women in the videogame industry. Because when your world is falling apart and nothing makes sense, who wouldn’t want to escape to a reality where you’re the one in control?
But with gamergate, gatekeeping and growing up to contend with, perhaps being in control isn’t as simple as it appears…
This is a show about video games, the people who love them, and the community they desparately wish would love them back.
Through dark comedy and devised theatre, join Flynn and Alice as they delve into their deepest obsessions, uncover uncomfortable truths, and find answers to the most important question: do true girl gamers REALLY exist?
