Dilemma: do you pursue the fairy tale … Or… settle for Mr Average to fulfill your aspirations of motherhood?

It’s one many women have to resolve. Quickly, too. Before our ovaries dry up. Do we park the rest of our lives, land the man (any man!) to achieve that one sole purpose, which naturally, all of us want without question?

For Stella, when a dark – and really awful – drunken fumble in a toilet results in an unexpected visit from the stork… Could this be the answer? Surely it has to be better than a sperm bank. The wrong choice with the wrong guy that just might make her dreams come true.

Unless, of course, she ends up elbows deep in shitty nappies. On her own. Failing. With the constant unsolicited commentary on how terrible a mother she is from everyone she meets. Those long held dreams might start to turn into a living nightmare.

What happens when happy ever after – well – isn’t?

Uncensored and unapologetic theatre, exploring the untold, life-changing reality of new parenthood.
