Amiot Hills is pregnant with the Antichrist, and they’re not sure what to do next. Equal parts silly and horrifying, join them for an hour of high camp body horror exploring transness, fear of pregnancy and shame. Combining object theatre and cabaret, Amiot Hills (***** ‘Physical. Visceral. Ecstatic.’ – The Tab) tracks an imagined journey of being pregnant with the spawn of Satan, and explores exactly why the idea of pregnancy as a trans person can feel like the end of the fucking world.
ANTICHRIST revels in the glory of reclaimed monstrosity. Hills walks the line between the authentic, bizarre, and riotous in an hour long satanic panic craze. Hilarity and horror combining in a truly visceral experience, ANTICHRIST is a ritualistic queer celebration of fear without shame, and a love letter to the parts of ourselves we are most afraid of.
Amiot Hills is a theatre-maker, puppeteer and performer who makes work exploring alienation and bodily experiences as a trans autistic person. They were selected as an early career artist for Brighton’s Femfest, where they debuted ANTICHRIST, and then developed at through part of Theatre Deli’s SHIFT+SPACE residency. Additional performance credits include: performer in The Metamorphoses by Jimmy Justice (Theatre Deli, Omnibus Theatre), performer and deviser in Be More Mushroom (St Margarets House), performer in The Shape of the Pain (Heliotrope Theatre). They are a co-founder, producer and host of CRABS!, a London based absurdist queer cabaret night held bi-monthly at The Glory.
