Britain has a new Chancellor of the Exchequer and budget day is fast approaching. Despite round the clock meetings, Catherine feels alone. So when a charming MP invites her to the most exclusive party in the country, she jumps at the opportunity.
But Catherine finds the boy Ministers in attendance are cursed with emotional debt. Shocked at the lengths they will go to cope, she sets out to fix them and in turn the country.
Contempt is an odyssey through Government and its institutions.
