Fresh from his critically acclaimed Fringe debut, Jake Baker returns with his follow-up hour. Since his first show was described as a heady blend of the whimsical and the political, this year’s show looks to perfect that cocktail with an extra measure of gags, a liberal splash of wit and a soupçon of daftness – all shaken and served over ice in a stylish, albeit rather impractical, glass.
I have been a full time comedian for the last two years gigging up and down the country for clubs like The Comedy Store, The Glee clubs, Up The creek and many others to numerous to mention. Last year I made my Edinburgh fringe debut with a show entitled 'Unity' it was well received by critics and audiences alike. I have been nominated for the BBC new comedy award three times and in 2016 I reached the final of the Leicester square theatre new act competition.
