An evening of exaggeration, emancipation and (yes!) dense academic theory from London’s Last Libertine, John Tothill. This work-in-progress show straddles cabaret and TEDTalk (by which I mean it’s stand-up comedy).

Described as one of the most “personable and truly funny talents” on the comedy scene by The List Magazine, and as “the first comedian ever to reference Hobbesian economics on stage” by Chortle, John Tothill’s new material consists of a frivolous examination of urban pleasure, the sex appeal of the Catholic Church, his experience deliberately getting malaria, and many other themes whose coherence you would be right to question. Come for the comedy; stay for the leopard print.
