Jacob is a young AI programmer, who pines for the artists of the ’60s and ’70s, pioneers who live on as sparkling deities in the public imagination. When, he wonders, will we see their like again?
So, with a sprinkling of Lennon, a pinch of Bowie and a handful of Brown, Jacob builds his own supersonic dream musician. That is, until certain other nightmarish traits reveal themselves.
‘M U S I C’ is the second sketch-gig-theatre collaboration from HangDog, the all-singing and never-dancing lovechild of the maniac clown Jacob Lovick and Chester’s longest-haired songwriter Jack Toop, who toured their debut show ‘L O V E’ in 2022 to great acclaim.
