MOLKA is a debut production from the duo Taeyun Kim and Maja Laskowska. The multidisciplinary performance created in collaboration with movement director Miia Mäkilä, is a powerful commentary on the rise of spycam crimes in South Korea and globally. Crimes which predominantly target women. Merging collaborative writing, personal stories and archival materials, MOLKA tells a story of women who are notoriously disregarded in a fight against their right to privacy. Why are these crimes happening? In a world of prolific gender inequality practices, can women talk about their experiences? Yes. MOLKA is about talking about it all.
