Step into an immersive audio journey and take a wild ride inside the body.
Discover a rip-roaring story of bowel disease diagnosis with blood, tears, shit, absurdity, hilarity, and humanity…all seeking to reveal what truly lies beneath a body at war.
Inspired by Camille Dawson’s experiences of struggling with chronic disease, ‘The War Inside’ tells the story of Marnie. Everything is happy, healthy and her body is functioning as normal. Before long, her body will be at war with itself. Undergoing the greatest struggle of her life, Marnie and her organs will have to fight the spiking disease and move forward with new perspectives on life, mortality, and identity.
A work-in-progress sharing the audio-only version of the show. In this unique and intimate audio experience, you will be fitted with headphones, enter a womb-like pod, close your eyes and experience the story sonically from inside the body.
