Information for Participants

Overview: A flexibly-configured ‘atmospheric’, intimate performance space with a fixed raised stage at one end. The bench seating is moveable and can be configured as End on, Traverse, or In-The-Round. The bare brick walls and concrete floor provides a unique backdrop to productions. Suits theatre, cabaret, drag, and spoken word productions. Kindly note, this space is inherently damp and humid. Whilst we will do what we can to maintain temperature and humidity control within the room, it is not recommended for anyone with existing respiratory problems to spend prolonged periods of time in the room.

Accessibility: Step-free access for Performers is dependent on the stage/seating layout selected by the artist. The performance space is step-free accessible if performing in the round or thrust, however there is no ramp onto the raised stage (60cm high). The sound and lighting operating points are at floor level and are step-free accessible.
