'39 Degrees' brings together a new and exciting collaboration and creative team.
Artistic Director of RedBellyBlack Theatre, Kate grew up in Indonesia and Australia, (the company's name deriving from a beautiful and lethal species of Australian snake, The Red Belly Black snake - harmless unless provoked). Kate studied at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts Sydney), The Australian Theatre for Young People and Actors Centre Australia.
Alistair is a queer, working class artist from Manchester, now living in East London. They have created work for venues such as National Theatre, Barbican Centre, Bush Theatre, Arcola, Bunker Theatre, VAULT Festival and the Albany, amongst many others. They are the Artistic Director of WoLab, a working laboratory for artists to create and are the creator and producer of the ACE-funded Actor-Writer Programme.
Ruth is a recent graduate of Fourth Monkey Theatre Company's Year of the Monkey course. A choreographer and Actor, Ruth has an electric style of performance and moves to a beat you wish you could hear.
Joseph Ed Thomas, Lighting Designer.
Joseph is an award nominated Lighting Designer based in Essex, London.
Joseph trained at The ArtsEducational Schools London and then received further training at RADA
