Ania is trying out some new material. She doesn't want to commit to any themes at the time of writing this blurb, but hopefully an overriding one will be jokes.
Ania is a 21 year old comedian who has written for BBC Radio 4's The Now Show and her previous Fringe show was recommended by Comedy Central as a 'show not to miss'. She was also a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedy Award 2018 and the 2Northdown New Act Competition 2019.Book Now
Ania is a comedian, actress and writer from London.
She ventured into comedy at the tender age of fifteen with a highly successful YouTube channel that attracted over 26,000 subscribers and currently boasts over one million views. Ania was a member Cambridge Footlights throughout her time at university. Her first show in 2017 ‘Dream Sequence’ enjoyed a complete sell out run at The Pleasance Ace Dome and further success with a US tour immediately afterwards in the September of that year. Since then she has appeared in many Footlights shows across the UK. She also acted in web series ‘Magpies With Mirrors’ which received 5 star reviews.
As a solo performer, Ania is making quick and impressive strides into stand up comedy. In 2018 she was a Funny Women Regional Finalist and Chortle Student Comedian Finalist. She added Finalist in the 2 Northdown New Act Competition to that list in early 2019. She has also written for The Now Show, for BBC Radio 4.
Ania is also a co-founder of ‘Stockings’, an all-female and non-binary comedy collective that support and inspire women in comedy.
Ania performed her first half hour of stand up at The Fringe in 2018 alongside fellow Cambridge Footlight Riss Obolensky. The show earned a five star review from Diva Magazine and was listed by Comedy Central as a ‘show not to miss’. She has since previewed her debut Edinburgh hour ‘LasAnia’ to audience and critical acclaim at Vault Festival in 2019.

https://www.varsity.co.uk/theatre/16176 This review is for the hour I did in Cambridge last year. As I did a split bill at the Fringe this year, we haven't had any reviewers in - but the audience reviews on the website are very kind!
