Angel on the Corner
Angel on the Corner Theatre Company was founded in 2014 by actresses Katherine Hurley and Elizabeth Nicholson. Frustrated by the lack of decent roles available for women we set about creating our own work combining our passion for female voices and social issues.
Our first piece ‘Zero Down’ had highly successful runs at both ‘Theatre 503’ (Bestselling show of the season-2015) and ‘The Pleasance’ (Ed Fringe 2016) ‘A fierce piece of writing full of gritty performances’ **** The Scotsman
Alongside collaborating with Questlife on ‘Blood Rites’, Angel on the Corner are currently in development with domestic drama ‘The Witterings’ (Park Theatre, New Criterion) and ‘The Deed’ created by Katherine and BBC award winning ‘Zero Down’ writer, Sarah Hehir.
