It may feel like the end of the world. That politics is broken. That all hope is lost.
Now is the time to come together and build a better world. Extinction Underground is an interactive and immersive late night playground responding to the climate and ecological emergency. An array of artists, performers and radicals are coming together with vital acts of co-creation, artistic expression, connection to the planet and one another.
Let us take you on a journey where rebellion, protest and the arts meet: an interactive, disruptive and moving spectacular of grief-stricken expressions and world-building visions of the future - with circus, drag, DJs, flash-mobs, processions, art-making stations, UV face-painting, karaoke and even the opportunity to admit your carbon confessions to a priest.
Headline acts include DJ sets by Edwin Congreave of FOALS and Fay Milton of SAVAGES, The Umbrella Academy star ROB SHEEHAN and slam winning spoken word artist TANAKA FUEGO.
Bring garments, bags, you want to print with the iconic messaging and images unique to Extinction Rebellion.

Extinction Underground presents a wide movement of artists and activists responding to the climate and ecological emergency.
Many have responded to Extinction Rebellion's (XR) call to reimagine their role in response to this crisis.
XR is a global movement that uses non-violent civil disobedience in an attempt to halt mass extinction and minimise the risk of social collapse. It is the fastest growing social movement of history, and within its first year has mobilised in over 70 countries, with nearly 500 local groups worldwide.
Culture Declares, Music Declares and other international movements and groups have since formed, with artists from Radiohead to the National Theatre declaring a climate and ecological emergency and taking necessary and radical action for climate justice.
Extinction Rebellion is just one part of an incredible and growing community of rebels and artists who together are building a creative response to the climate and ecological emergency.
As well as Extinction Rebellion's commitment to creating disruption through mass civil disobedience, as artists we are also committed to telling the truth, bringing people together, and to demonstrating the future we want to see through beautiful creative actions and community building.
Many of us share Extinction Rebellion's demands:
1. That governments TELL THE TRUTH by declaring climate and ecological emergency, and work with media and other institutions to communicate the urgency for change.
2 That we ACT NOW to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025.
3 That a CITIZENS' ASSEMBLY is established and makes decisions on climate and ecological justice.
Produced in collaboration with Kay Michael of Letters to the Earth and Culture Declares Emergency, who brought BAFTA Funny Women Award winner Lydia Rynne's post-punk and prochoice play HEAR ME HOWL to Vault Festival, 2018.
An interactive immersive late-night underground playground celebrating the unstoppable creativity of Extinction Rebellion and friends. Dance, play, create and discover how artists and rebels are responding to our unprecedented times.
Plant-life is re-claiming and re-wilding Planet Earth, and we must do the same: break free and go wild for an epic celebration with immersive artworks, music, comedy and dancing.
