In the hot summer of 2019, we set ourselves a mission –
We were going to watch the entire Logan Paul YouTube channel.
And make a show out of it.
Four hundred videos later, we’re starting to regret that decision.
Part trash culture documentary and part delirious video fantasy, The Peaceful Defeat return to VAULT Festival with a new work-in-progress show about media, loneliness, and watching and watching and watching and watching and watching. And when it’s all done we’ll be selling t-shirts outside the theatre.

Formed in Exeter in 2017, The Peaceful Defeat make intimate and unusual theatre that's grounded in a sensitive feeling for the textures on the modern world. Our first show 'Cotton' made its debut in a small room in Exeter before appearing at VAULT Festival in 2018 as well as The Bike Shed Theatre and The Hen & Chickens Theatre. Festival Contribution: Every ticket at VAULT Festival includes a £1.50 "Festival Contribution" which is your direct contribution to the continuation of the Festival. It helps us to pay for all the infrastructure, overheads and staff which make the Festival possible.
