I Would Like to Get to Know You

Presented by Feral Foxy Ladies & Kaleido Film Collective

Critically acclaimed companies Feral Foxy Ladies & Kaleido Film Collective (★★★★ ‘totally engaging’ – A Younger Theatre) return to VAULT after a sell-out run in 2017 to bring you their new comedy on love, lust and loss, inspired by the quarter life crisis.

A showcase of real life dating stories – from the humorous to the downright questionable – tackling everything from Tinder to zombie-ing. Join us as we navigate through the dating minefield, asking how, where and why we are searching for love today.

Turning real life interviews into performance, led by a mix of original live music, projection, and physical theatre, this laugh-out-loud show unveils the unspoken truths of modern dating.

I Would Like to Get to Know You was developed with the support of Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council, The Garage Theatre - and our willing interviewees.

About the company

Feral Foxy Ladies & Kaleido Film Collective

I Would Like to Get to Know You is the third show developed by Feral Foxy Ladies & Kaleido Film Collective.

Feral Foxy Ladies are devised performance duo Claire Stone (director) and Katherine Vince (performer), making theatre that tackles social stigma through self-reflection.

We partner with filmmakers, Charlotte Seegers and Chloë Plumb from Kaleido Film Collective, a multi-national filmmaking team, combining experience in documentary film with ethnographic research to create award-winning socially engaged visual and creative projects.

Feral Foxy Ladies & Kaleido Film Collective’s collaboration combines our skills in performance, film and documentary to create shows that build emotional insight into raw, relevant stories.

Their previous performances include the critically acclaimed I Got Dressed in Front of My Nephew Today (Edinburgh 2015, VAULT 2016) and BALANCING ACTS (Camden People’s Theatre 2016, Sold-out VAULT 2017).

I Would Like To Get To Know You is our first collaboration with musician, singer and song-writer George Cheetham. Having presented solo performances in previous years, this year we bring you our first duet.
