Katie Pritchard: Tsunamiramirami

A musical comedy show like no other.

Like the most watery of weather conditions, Katie Pritchard is washing over the surfboards of comedy, crashing into the sandbanks of genre and dropping a sturdy wave onto the beach house of musicality.

Join Katie Pritchard as she takes you on a whirlwind magical mystery tour around the inner workings of her brain, and may even showcase a few of her many hidden talents. For Katie is a Musician (she is proficient on 13 different instruments, including the very tricky Shakey Egg), crafter (she makes all of her own costumes), lunger (she ran three marathons, don’t you know? This, apparently, makes you excellent at lunging…or so she says), insert more cool things here, and you may even get a sneaky peek at her acting abilities as she performs death-defying feats of actory.

About the company

Katie burst onto the comedy block in 2013 with her pink-haired, Ukulele-Wielding character; K-Pizz. After performing as K-Pizz at just 5 gigs, and growing a very teenie tiny small culty following (of roughly 7 people), Katie decided to ditch K-Pizz in 2014 and go solo. Since then, she has been found thrusting her way around any stage that will have her, and now performs all over the country with her mad capped musical mayhem.

WINNER of Hilarity Bites in 2016, FINALIST of the Musical Comedy Awards 2017, and Runner-up in Stand Up For Cider 2016, and Max Turner Prize 2015.

Currently running her own nights “Variety of Kings” and “Variety of Queens” in London, as well as booking and MC’ing a fair few other regular gigs across the Greater London area, Katie is now a well practised MC, and her warm and friendly presence makes for a fun atmosphere where everyone feels right at home.

Prior to hitting the comedy scene, Katie performed in the West End and on Number 1 UK Tours in many Rock’n’Roll Musicals. It was whilst she was working on these jobs that she discovered her love of comedy, and began filming a comedy vlog, which picked up a small following of lovely people who urged her to try the comedy live on stage, and a few years later…here she is. Katie can still be found “treading the boards” at various venues across the UK, as she is still a working actor, despite her inability to look any older than a 14 year old.
