LADYLIKES are a new sketch duo formed of actor-comedians, Phoebe Batteson-Brown and Miztli Rose. Trained in acting from RADA and Arts Ed, Miztli and Phoebe met in 2017 whilst performing in NewsRevue, the world’s longest running live comedy show. Their passion for satire, character comedy, and a dirty song or two led them to join forces, and in May 2018, they were selected to join the prestigious Soho Theatre Young Company. In 2019 LADYLIKES made their Edinburgh debut with the support of Soho Theatre Young Company. Described as‘ an incredibly likeable sketch-duo oozing with potential’ (Femedy) and ' charismatic women you’d like to see more of' (Chortle), they are incredibly excited to be bringing Top Secret House Party to VAULT Festival. LADYLIKES have an innate ability to capture the millennial experience with their immersive style; using the scapegoat generation as chaotically funny material that can be universally engaged with. Their style has been likened to French and Saunders for the Millennial Generation with inspiration coming from writer-performers such as Julia Davis and Ilana Glazer and Abi Jacobson (Broad City). LADYLIKES are 2019 Sketch Off Semi-Finalists and Funny Women Short Film Award Nominees.Book Now
