The world's a bit shit, isn't it? Let's run away to the moon. That's where Laurie Black and her spaceship synthesiser are shooting for so get in, loser! Expect original musical comedy and quirky covers from this synth-playing classically trained pianist and singer who aims to be the first woman on the moon (yes, really). Winner of Best Emerging Artist at Adelaide Fringe 2018, this is Black's first narrative solo show: an adventure through time and space, literally. Plus she's green...
Emerging Artist of Adelaide Fringe 2018, Laurie Black is a classically trained pianist, songwriter and cabaret queen from London. She is the Bad Luck Boss, host and producer of BAD LUCK CABARET, the best in alternative cabaret on the Fringe circuit and you may have seen her playing keys for Anya Anastasia, Mikelangelo or steampunk greats The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing. She is now bringing her first fully blown narrative solo show Space Cadette to VAULT Fest before blasting off to the Australian Fringe circuit 2019.
