Lucy Light is a comedy play written by Off West End Award nominated Sarah Milton. A story that spans ten years, Lucy Light follows two normal teenagers into adulthood... except Lucy has a big decision to make. A nostalgic look on our relationship with our bodies, the hereditary nature of cancer, and the strength of female friendships.
Sarah Milton is alumni of Lyric Hammersmith 2013, Soho 2014/15, Hightide 2015 Young Writers & RADA Advances in Script Writing 2015. Sarah was one of ten young writers selected to work with The Royal Court on Open Court Festival 2016. Her audio play 'The Flower Show’ ran for three weeks at The Royal Court and her play 'The Night Tella' was presented in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs, as part of the festival.
Sarah's play 'Tumble Tuck' was placed highly on their Verity Bargate 2015 Award list. It was presented by Old Vic New Voices at Wilderness Festival in August 2016, and then the Soho Theatre in the Soho Rising season during October 2016. Back Here! Theatre produced it for The Underbelly in Edinburgh 2017 where it received rave reviews. It transferred to The King's Head Theatre in April 2018, and gained top reviews and an Offie Nom.
Sarah has just completed the Criterion New Writing programme led by Greg Mosse.
Emmy Rose is a Stage One New Producer and has been mentored by The Production Exchange since 2015.
Emmy is Producer for genderblind classical rep company Merely Theatre who's work included three UK tours "A Midsummer Night's Dream/Henry V", "Twelfth Night/Romeo & Juliet" and most recently their 2018 autumn tour of "Much Ado About Nothing/Macbeth”. Merely Theatre have toured to over 35 small to mid-scale venues across the UK.
Emmy in an Associate Producer of The Production Exchange and worked on their national tour of Tim Luscombe's adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma" which toured during summer 2016.
