Queerstory- a colourful, Queer night of LGBTQ+ themed mythology and folklore, digging into these old tales, bringing their queer themes to light in all their rainbow coloured glory.
The Embers Collective have been putting on storytelling and music performances and events all over London, the UK and beyond.
Last September they premiered a new show 'Queerstory', diving head first into the world of folklore and mythology to find their often obscured or entirely rewritten Queer themes.
The night will feature a stellar line-up of Queer performers, storytellers and musicians handpicked especially for Vault Festival.Book Now

Combining dark, twisted and hilarious mythology and folklore, with an ever-evolving storytelling landscape, The Embers Collective do storytelling like you've never seen it before.
Drawing from a growing contingent of between 20-25 storytellers, musicians, poets, clowns and performers, The Embers Collective have been putting on sellout events for the last four years; in London, the UK and beyond. Favourites on the festival circuit, they have devised shows for Wilderness Festival, Shambala Festival and Meadows in The Mountains Festival. They have sold out shows with The Nest Collective and Woodburner, and have built up a dedicated and ever-growing following who attend their monthly events.
Last year they had their debut at Vault Festival and were nominated for the After Dark Award.
This year, they are eager to get back, with three brand new shows especially curated and devised for Vault Festival.Book Now

'A truly brilliant evening. The storytellers and stories were diverse: some using folk tales or Greek myth as a starting point and others (so far as I could tell) wholly original. Every one was a delight: moving, funny and thought-provoking. High praise too for the musicians, whose backing worked like the best movie soundtrack, pointing up the drama, accentuating a joke or enhancing a mood, but never obtruding. The other delight was the friendly. responsive audience. I had never heard of Embers Collective before but now I'm a fan.'
'Brilliant queer clever thoughtful mystical funny colourful lovely'
'Excellent as always, and what an amazing special event. Thank you!'
