Revolution

Revolution has engulfed London. We, the people, demand change.

We the people have had enough. We the people will no longer be lied to. We the people say it is time for Revolution.

Revolution has engulfed London and a new order must be established. The course of change never did run smooth though. Three rival factions have risen from the ashes of old authority and each must champion their cause in this new dawning of our civilization.

This experience brings together gaming and interactive theatre, casting the audience as the protagonists of change in a city in turmoil. Join us underground to decide the fate of a Revolution. What needs to change? What would make our world better? What would you sacrifice in the name of your ideology?

★★★★★ “as interactive/immersive experiences go, Revolution ranks as one of the best” London Theatre1

Exit Productions draws inspiration from games like Risk, Diplomacy and Settlers of Catan to place you in the centre of events that are transforming our world today. Audiences must come together to make moral and tactical decisions on which the future of the revolution depends. Ideologies must be compromised. Competition must be crushed. The people must be led.

The course of the revolution is yours to define.

About the company

Exit Productions

Exit Productions Limited is trying to find the meeting points between game and theatre. Giving anyone the opportunity to be the action, not just watch it. We aim to get an audience to experience, process and challenge themselves in situations they can usually only view from afar. Revolution allows an audience to experience the pressures of leadership and making political decisions, turning armchair politicians into real ones, if only for a couple of hours.

Our next performance, commissioned by and performed at the Imperial War Museum, invites audiences to explore the moral and material risks and rewards of digital warfare. As with all of our work we aim to draw participants into an accessible and fun experience, but to leave them with serious thoughts and questions on the content of the piece.
