Paddy Flynn has finally got his chance on a decent horse, finally got a chance at glory, and finally got a chance to beat his brother. He intends to win....... Whatever the cost.

Rusted Dust

Rusted Dust was set up in 2011 by East 15 graduate Kieran O’Rourke. We aim to write compelling period plays, with a focus on characters and story telling.
In 2011 Rusted Dust’s The Lift by Kieran O’Rourke won both acting and writing commendations from the NSDF Edinburgh Fringe Emerging Artists Awards.
In 2016, our next show The Communist Threat, by Kieran O’Rourke and David Holmes won best new play at Buxton Fringe Festival, it was also nominated for best overall production, and Kieran O’Rourke was nominated for Best Actor.
In 2017 The Many Crimes of Hector Cartwright by Kieran O’Rourke won a Highly Commended award from Vault Festival.

Sam Carrack, Director

Sam has worked almost entirely in New Writing and Immersive, Promenade theatre. Sam is currently co-Artistic Director for Mulligan Theatre and has previously held company director and dramaturg roles with EPOCH Presents and AllThePigs Theatre Company. Credits include; KINGS, HAPPY DAVE & TINDERBOX (All for Smoke & Oakum), PIANO MAN, GIZMO LOVE, SCOOTER THOMAS MAKES IT TO THE TOP OF THE WORLD & PEEPSHOW (All for AllThePigs) and THIS IS 1993, THIS IS THE MILLENIUM, THIS IS 1950 and THIS IS FILM NOIR (All for EPOCH).
Previously for VAULT Festival, IAN DONE A BAD THING & TALK ABOUT THE PASSION in collaboration with The Forgiveness Project (2017) & KINGS (2016) Which was awarded 'Show Of The Week'.
Sam has assisted on a National Tour of STONES IN HIS POCKETS - a co-production between The Theatre Chipping Norton & The Dukes Lancaster, RISE at The Old Vic Theatre and SEVEN GUITARS at Two Rivers Theatre, NJ, USA.

Kieran O'Rourke, Writer and Artistic Director of Rusted Dust.
Kieran has written various short plays Epoch Presents at The Vaults. Full length shows are The lift (2011) The communist Threat (2015) The Many Crimes of Hector Cartwright (2016)

Leonora Stavrianakos, Producer Leonora began working in theatre with Geraldine Pilgrim assisting and co producing The Well Project. This encouraged her to create and produce community theatre. She currenty works with homeless charities using drama as a therapeutic tool. Through storytelling and verbatim theatre, she helps produce their stories and also supports them in finding accommodation.

Alongside theatre she has also been freelance producing adverts for companies such as Adzuna and Shell.

More recently moving into film she was the production assistant on recently released Raindance choice, Redcon-1.
